CFTN Unit

The Naval Training and Formation Center (CFTN) is a cornerstone of the FALINTIL-FDTL Naval Force’s capacity-building efforts. Established to ensure the development of highly skilled naval professionals, the CFTN offers a comprehensive range of training programs. These programs include foundational courses in navigation, communication, and maritime safety, as well as advanced training in maritime operations techniques and crisis management.

The CFTN also specializes in training instructors and experts who directly enhance the capabilities of Timor-Leste’s Armed Forces. Equipped with modern infrastructure and experienced trainers, the center fosters partnerships with international organizations to align its courses with global standards. This reflects the FALINTIL-FDTL’s commitment to operational excellence and regional security.
