Humanitarian Aid

The F-FDTL demonstrate their commitment to the well-being of Timorese citizens through humanitarian assistance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they played a crucial role in establishing isolation centers, distributing masks, and managing border controls.

In the April 4, 2020 floods, which devastated parts of Timor-Leste, the F-FDTL responded swiftly, rescuing affected communities, delivering food and shelter, and rebuilding local infrastructure. They also assisted in debris removal and supported displaced families.

Beyond emergencies, the F-FDTL maintain regular humanitarian efforts. Through the "Service Combatant with the Community" (SKK) program, they contribute to infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and sanitation systems.

Additionally, they support rural development and education initiatives, encouraging youth participation. The F-FDTL's ongoing work reflects their dedication to ensuring a fair and sustainable society.
