Naval Squadron Unit

The Naval Squadron Unit forms the operational backbone of the FALINTIL-FDTL Naval Force. Comprising modern vessels and highly trained crews, this unit’s primary mission is to defend Timor-Leste’s territorial waters. Its operations include maritime patrols, search and rescue missions, and combating illegal activities such as predatory fishing and drug trafficking.
