F-FDTL and Ministry of Defense Reflect and Celebrate Victory Year 2024

FALINTIL-Força de Defesa de Timor-Leste F-FDTL together with the Ministry of Defense to jointly reflect and celebrate the successful victory during international visits to Timor-Leste in 2024.
The Chief of General Staff of FALINTIL-Força de Defesa de Timor-Leste F-FDTL Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl “Falur Rate Laek” congratulates the family for their full support and dedication to the commitment in 2024.
“Today we reflect together to celebrate the victorious victory of security in 2024, which has already passed, soon we will welcome the new year 2025, so the old year that has passed has become a positive and negative experience that we have made. I hope that this will become a reference to improve in the next year.
He also stressed that the mission that the State of Timor-Leste offers to the F-FDTL Institution must be ensured and well executed, although it faces deficiencies, constraints and difficulties, but the military is a trained person with the training available to comply with the Order to serve the people and the Nation of Timor-Leste.
The CEMGFA states that the meeting of the Superior Council for Defence and Security led by the President of the Republic José Ramos Horta expressed its appreciation and congratulated the F-FDTL institution for the operation that supported the PNTL Institution to ensure security during the successful visit of Pope Francis to Timor-Leste.
