The Chief of the General Staff of FALINTIL (Timor-Leste Defence Forces), Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl "Falur Rate Laek," participated in the National Dialogue held at the Presidential Palace in Bairo Pite, Dili.

The National Seminar was opened by His Excellency the President of the Republic, José. Ramos-Horta, and the keynote speaker was His Excellency the Prime Minister, Xanana Gusmão, on the topic "The Role of the New Generation in the Context of National Development to Continuing the Work of the Old Generation."

Participating in this seminar were: His Excellency the President of the Republic, J. Ramos-Horta; His Excellency the Prime Minister, Xanana Gusmão, CEMGFA; Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl "Falur Rate Laek"; Retired Lieutenant General Lere Anan Timur, Member of the IX Government; Presidential Commissioner of the National Military Police (PN), Municipal Administration 13; University Students.
