The representative of the Chief of General Staff of the FALINTIL - Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL), Colonel Alberto Pereira dos Santos "COPAS," as well as the head of the Service Support Office (GAS), in conjunction with the Ministry of Defense (MD), provided basic necessities support to orphans and people with disabilities in the municipalities of Ermera, Likisa, Bobonaro, and Ataúro. Colonel Alberto Pereira dos Santos stated: "The current objective of the Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL) is to provide basic needs support to orphanages and people with disabilities in the municipalities of Ermera, Likisa, Bobonaro, and Ataúro, continuing the FALINTIL 50th anniversary program, celebrated last month.

He said that during the war, the people were the water, FALINTIL were the fish, so the F-FDTL became the nation's fence, always supporting the community, especially people with disabilities, including orphans throughout the territory.

"Our role is to support our community, especially people with disabilities, including orphans. We don't bring materials, but only basic necessities, such as sedap noodles, Masi-midar, Deho "Tuna Enaak," Mina goreng, Foos, Susu-been "Enaak," tea, coffee, soap, Rinso, toothbrushes, massages, toothpaste, and so on."
