 The Chief of the General Staff FALINTIL-East Timor Defence Force (F-FDTL) Lieutenant General Falur Rate Laek visited the Naval Component base of the New Zealand Armed Forces Te Taue Moana Marae, during the visit he was received directly by the Commander of the New Zealand Naval Force, Air Chief Marshal Tony Davies, MNZM.

 The visit is part of the agenda to participate in the meeting between the Chiefs of the General Staff of the Asia-Pacific called TOTARA WANANGA 2025, held in New Zealand, and the objective of the visit to the naval base is to get to know the New Zealand Naval Force directly.

 The delegation that accompanied the Chief of Staff of FALINTIL-East Timor Defence Forces (F-FDTL) was composed of the Field Assistant of the CEMGFA Major José Pinto, the Nurse of the CEMGFA Alteres Celestino Amaral, the Sergeant-Major of the F-FDTL Alberto Moreira Freitas, the translator Sergeant Armando Soares and the Security of the CEMGFA Second Sergeant Oki.
