Good afternoon, everyone!
Military exercises have implications at different levels and meanings. In our situation, Exercise Matebian is an opportunity to demonstrate professional skills and comply with military management procedures.
This type of exercise is an important tool for our armed forces to test and validate their concepts, procedures, systems and tactics. It generally allows the armed forces to develop their capabilities and practice working together efficiently in challenging situations.
I would like to acknowledge here the professionalism, hard work and commitment during a week of exercises. Congratulations on a job well done and on completing such an important exercise! The main objective is to improve the ability to work in a cohesive environment within the structure of the Component Force. From this exercise, the Command wants to see in the participants an immersive experience that allows them to try, in a realistic and challenging environment, to practice the tactics, techniques and procedures that they learned in theory. Activities like this have improved their decision-making and teamwork skills, as well as the operational framework for interoperability, but especially the knowledge of our topography and its natural resources for survival.
I believe that during the week you demonstrated the synergy of the exercise, because no military force operates alone, so collaboration is essential. The symbolic gesture of the military demonstration reflects hard work, dedication and commitment to improve skills and promote confidence-building measures.
Even though we have limited equipment, this will not hinder the spirit of learning and fulfilling our patriotic mission of defending our beloved country. Therefore, this exercise is conducted to make you operational, update your knowledge and learn from your commanders. It is about being prepared for any situation that may arise and that requires the intervention of the armed forces.
Finally, I would like to announce that the next exercise will be held in Matebian with the concept set to simulate the real events of combat action during the war and simulation scenarios will be made, and for this the General Staff of the Ground Forces Component must have started to discuss internally in its initial planning the mobilization of the military and the concept will be presented at the future meeting of the F-FDTL Command.
I hope that this exercise will provide the participants with valuable opportunities to improve tactical quality, exchange experiences and build camaraderie. Mutual understanding and friendship built among the military forms a solid foundation for any operation.
My special thanks also to the health personnel who support the F-FDTL in providing health care to our community. We are all grateful for their willingness to work with the F-FDTL to serve our people.
Thank you all very much!
