The Chief of the General Staff of the FALINTIL (Timor-Leste Defense Force), Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl "Falur Rate Laek," received a visit from the Technical Director of the ACCTL.IP, Cornelio Vasconselhos, of the Civil Aviation Authority of Timor-Leste (AACTL), at the General Headquarters in Fatuhada.
At this meeting, further discussion was held on cooperation between Civil Aviation and the Armed Forces and the Air Component. He was accompanied on this visit by the Chief of Staff of the General Staff, Colonel Rizai, and also by the Commander of the Light Air Component, Colonel Helder da Costa, and the Deputy Commander of the Air Component, Lieutenant Colonel Grad Salustiano Vasconcelhos, also of the AACTL.IP.

The representative of the Chief of General Staff of the FALINTIL - Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL), Colonel Alberto Pereira dos Santos "COPAS," as well as the head of the Service Support Office (GAS), in conjunction with the Ministry of Defense (MD), provided basic necessities support to orphans and people with disabilities in the municipalities of Ermera, Likisa, Bobonaro, and Ataúro. Colonel Alberto Pereira dos Santos stated: "The current objective of the Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL) is to provide basic needs support to orphanages and people with disabilities in the municipalities of Ermera, Likisa, Bobonaro, and Ataúro, continuing the FALINTIL 50th anniversary program, celebrated last month.
He said that during the war, the people were the water, FALINTIL were the fish, so the F-FDTL became the nation's fence, always supporting the community, especially people with disabilities, including orphans throughout the territory.
"Our role is to support our community, especially people with disabilities, including orphans. We don't bring materials, but only basic necessities, such as sedap noodles, Masi-midar, Deho "Tuna Enaak," Mina goreng, Foos, Susu-been "Enaak," tea, coffee, soap, Rinso, toothbrushes, massages, toothpaste, and so on."

The FALINTIL Command (F-FDTL) is working in conjunction with the Ministry of Defense (MD), through a team led by Infantry Lieutenant Costantino Mendonça Ximenes and a team directly monitored by the Municipal Authority of Manufahi, Mr. Luis M. da Costa Tavares, who supported the feeding schools at the Aidahaleu, Betano, and Weberek orphanages, managed by the CIJ Mothers' Community in the municipality of Manufahi.
This food support is part of a gesture of love for the poor to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the FALINTIL, on August 20, so the command decided to support the basic nutrition of the orphanages. Furthermore, Madre Esperança CIJ expressed its gratitude to FALINTIL-FDTL and the Ministry of Defense, which was also supported by the Manufahi Municipal Authority in selecting the Aidahaleu, Betano, and Weberek Orphanages to receive support.
These food items include 13 items, such as: Supermie, Masi-midar, Deho Tuna Enaak, Fried Oil, Rice, "Enaak" Milk, Tea, Coffee Box, Liquid Soap, Mouthwash, Pepsodent, Toothbrush, and others.

(F-FDTL Communication) Four members of the FALINTIL (Timor-Leste Defense Forces) (F-FDTL), consisting of three officers and one soldier, met with the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl "Falur Rate Laek" China.
"May God accompany you all, always with patience and discipline, so that you can achieve good results during your return to our country," said CEMGFA, Falur Rate Laek.
These military personnel are composed of three officers: Captain Dr. Rui da Silva Fernandes, from Headquarters, who completed the Specialty Course (INTENSIVE EMERGENCY); Captain Dr. Paulo dos Santos, from the General Support Force, who completed the Specialty Course (ENT/LARYNGOLOGY); and Captain Dr. Alfredo A. Morreira, from the CFT/UF, who completed the Specialty Course (UROLOGY) in China, for two years, beginning on September 1, 2025, and ending on July 31, 2027, on July 31, 2031.

Special Operations Colonel Domingos da Costa Soares "DOBU", current Commander of the Ground Forces Component. Along with members of the 9th Government, members of the PNTL, including some religious leaders, received the Medal of the Order of Timor-Leste from the President of the Republic, Dr. J. Ramos Horta, at the Aitarak Laran Presidential Palace in Dili.
In recognition of the dedication, commitment, and professionalism demonstrated during the Apostolic Visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to Timor-Leste, which will take place from September 9 to 11, 2024.

The FALINTIL Command—Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL), represented by Infantry Lieutenant Constantino Mendonça Ximenes, accompanied by the President of the Aileu Municipal Authority, "𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐝𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬," as well as the Sekam for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with the Directors of Municipal Services, received basic humanitarian support at AMA on Thursday.
This humanitarian support serves only to complete the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the F-FDTL, which did not distribute essential goods to orphans and people with disabilities in Aileu. So far, the Municipality of Aileu has received 13 food items. "They will be distributed to our fellow orphans and people with disabilities," said the Infantry Lieutenant.
The President of the Aileu Municipal Authority expressed his gratitude to FALINTIL-FDTL for responding to and addressing the Authority's concerns. "Everything is proceeding according to the process, and we will distribute according to the list."
The WFP asked the Director of NGOs and CBOs to "Please collect the list" for the food items already in the municipality. "These items will be distributed to orphans and people with disabilities at four stations, including Aileu-Villa, Remédio, Laulara, and Lequidoe." Distribution will be made according to the available list.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian support includes:
28 boxes of "Mie Sedap";
50 kg of salt in four bags;
2 boxes of Deho "Tuna Enaak";
3 boxes of cooking oil;
25 kg of rice in 50 bags;
5 boxes of "Enaak" milk;
2 boxes of milk;
2 boxes of coffee;
2 boxes of liquid soap;
2 boxes of mouthwash;
2 boxes of salt;
1 box of toothpaste;
1 box of toothbrush.
