Eight members of FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defence Forces (F-FDTL) completed the English language training course V at the Comandante Nicolao Lobato Training Center, Metinaro today.
The General Commander of the Support Force, Colonel Celestino Pinto 'DAELEBA', said that eight members of FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defence Forces (F-FDTL) (today they have already passed the English level from level I to level V)
“Our cooperation with Australia and Portugal because Portugal is part of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) and Australia we must know English because we are part of the multilateral with America, Australia and Japan including Malaysia so we must know English and Portuguese. " said the General Commander of the Support Force, Colonel Celestino Pinto “Daeleba”, after distributing certificates to the members.
“We must learn English when we go to countries with which we cooperate multilaterally and we are going to work abroad. We must know English and Portuguese and not only that, but for the Chief of Staff course we must know the English language.”
“In the academy and in the training courses, we must know English to go to Australia and America, including other places that we have to determine our academy this year or next, we must plan like this because this is your preparation before you go.”
The institution prepares you in English not only in Metinaro but also in the Land Component, Naval Component and also Light Air Component, which began to be prepared well before coming to CICNL.

Six members of the FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defence Forces have completed their Journalism training at the Technical Training Centre in Communication (CEFTEC).
The certificate award ceremony for three hundred and eighty-three (383) trainees, from Unit Seven including Protocol and Public Relations, was held at the CNE Liquidation Hall, Colmera, Dili.
Although the 6 members are from Units and Components including Headquarters, the training received at CEFTEC is the same in the Television, Multimedia, Protocol and Press Writing Units.

The Army Championship Game was held at the 7th Brigade Gallipoli Barracks Brisbane, with the objective to further strengthen cooperation or ties of friendship between the Armed Forces of Timor-Leste and the Australian Forces.
In the friendly game went very well and showed tactical game to each other until finally the men's team F-FDTL managed to defeat the team Forsa 16° Brigade and the women's team F-FDTL lost to Forsa 16° Brigade.
Meanwhile, players from the women's and men's teams of F-FDTL totaled forty (40), with 1 liaison officer from Australia, composed of 18 women and 18 men. in-4, the jog is held every year in Australia.

According to the Chief of Staff General FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL) Lieutenant General Domingos Raúl “Falur Rate Laek” said, this exercise is held for the 12th time.
"This exercise follows the experiences of the F-FDTL military together with 4 countries, we continue to do this exercise to exchange experiences especially, thank the ambassadors especially the community of four countries, which they came to cooperate with we, although we are a small country but they come to project us to the world to know us," said Lieutenant General Falur Rate Laek after finished the opening of the Building Together Exercise (HH24) at the Service Support Unit (UAS) Metinaru, Dili.
He said the exercise not only provides capacity and exchange experience but also projects the image of Timor Leste to the world.
He said the activities that will be carried out during the exercise Hari Hamutuk (HH24) are construction activities, horizontal and vertical support called Civil Military (CIMIC) to improve schools in Hato-Udu Ainaro Municipality.
He added that now his part is designing programs and to ask the partner countries will come to teach agriculture to the military, "he concluded.
In the same place, Japanese Ambassador to Timor Leste Tetsuya Kimiura thanked for the cooperation to carry out this joint exercise.
"I wish you all the best and we look forward to the final results of this joint exercise," he said.
